Zirikana, Never forget, N’oublies jamais.
Humanity for all because “What binds us together is greater than what drives us apart” – Barack Obama
‘Healthy people happy people” and “Together Everyone Achieves More”
We are a global charitable organization bringing together non-government organizations Living with Happiness-Icyemezo and Rwanda Mothers-Team, both based in Rwanda. These non-profit organizations were created by 2 sisters, survivors from the regrettable genocide against the Tutsi people which happened in Rwanda in 1994
Love, light, and truth are what drive us to know who we are, our inner source as human beings. We accept and value ourselves and do the same for others with the dignity and respect that everyone deserves.
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” C.S. Lewis
Being accessible and sharing the grace we have. If you want to make a change begin now and start where you are. No one on earth is self-sufficient and we are social creations by nature. We trust that everyone has assets and positive energy that can be shared with others to work on positive changes that will better improve our health, wealth, and wellbeing. Any target is possible when people are committed and share goals.
One of the negative impacts of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi and life after that period is that families were destroyed. Young women and men had few role models to help them develop their roles as future parents and community leaders. While there were positive changes happening such as the promotion of women and education for all, there were high expectations of women and mothers who are considered the “Heart of the Family”. These women and their families require much continuing support to keep having strong relationships for their daily development and peaceful living in families.
